Teal Reconnection
While there remain a number of uncertainties ahead, one thing is certain: in the future, our workplaces are not simply destinations. They are a tool that we use to accomplish certain objectives, provide exceptional client experiences, build our business, grow a career, and maintain our relationships and culture. Following the easing of public health restrictions, we began to welcome our teams back into our higher density workplaces in larger numbers in April 2022 using an approach aligned with our People First value, called Teal Reconnection. The purpose of our approach was to allow the opportunity for our team members to reconnect and re-ignite and sustain our culture in a manner where everyone felt supported and safe. Our phased approach welcomed our teams back with events and activities focused on a return to fun, personal and team connection, and collaborative work, with consideration for the varying levels of comfort with face-to-face interactions. Each location was provided with a blueprint, funding, and
supplies to kick off a week-long celebration of our culture and our spaces. Our team members were given a Mental Health First Aid Kit that offered mindful, cognitive, and behavioural strategies to deal with uncomfortable emotions. We expect flexible work arrangements to continue to evolve and we are committed to ensure our approach allows us to best serve our clients, meet the expectations of our teams and stay true to our culture and values.
