Supports and advocates for people with diverse disabilities and chronic diseases.

• Held monthly support groups on Neurodiversity, Chronic illness & disease, and Parents & Caregivers. • Led a panel session at the Annual CWB Leadership Conference on Disability Matters. • Hosted initiatives for Disability Employment Awareness Month including a guest speaker session on Advancing Access and Equity. • Provided feedback on the Accessibility Survey, Accessibility Plan, and Accommodations practice. • 500+ attendees participated in CWB Women’s March 2023 International Women’s Day events across Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, the GTA, Winnipeg and a virtual session. • Published an external blog CWB Women at work for equity , highlighting the distinction between Equity and Equality and sharing what drives our CWB Women members to play an active role in creating an environment that facilitates equal outcomes for women at work and beyond. • Supported a review of CWB’s Banking Associate Program with goals of improving the recruitment experience, enhancing the experience of feeling supported, included and successful throughout the program and increasing retention of participants upon graduation of the program. • Hosted a virtual meet and greet as an ice breaker to welcome new members. • Hosted three in-person networking events in Edmonton, Vancouver and Toronto. • Arranged a virtual networking extravaganza connecting employees across the organization. • Hosted a workshop on Tax Tips for Parents. • Published an external blog on Back-to-School tips for parents and an internal blog on Caregiving on Back-to-School tips for parents and an internal blog on Caregiving. • Hosted a session on Courageous Conversations in Adult Caregiving in October. • Hosted a session on Family Dynamics Through the Holidays in December. • Hosted six monthly themed drop-in sessions for the members, spotlighting a Latin American holiday or country and published multiple blogs on topics like experiences with bias, immigration stories, and cultural teachings. • Hosted three events for Latin American Heritage Month in October, including sharing about Latin American traditions and celebrations, and a panel discussion on experiences immigrating from Latin America to Canada.

Supports new professionals, whether they are just starting out in their career, new to the financial industry, or returning to the workforce after an extended period. Provides support and resources to working parents and caregivers.
