FEDERAL PAY EQUITY

As a federally regulated employer, CWB is on track to meet the obligations of Canada’s Pay Equity Act. In accordance with these new regulations, a Pay Equity Committee was selected in August of 2023 and is comprised of seven members and four alternates. The Committee spent time in September onboarding and receiving training on Pay Equity. Work is currently underway to establish a Pay Equity plan to eliminate any systemic gender-based discrimination in compensation practices. After completing the plan, we expect to share a draft plan with the organization in 2024 and publish the final Pay Equity plan by late fiscal 2024.
